Aiming High is the eagerly awaiting second album by Hastings UK band Factory. After a 40 year hiatus the boys got back together about 4 years ago to produce their debut album Back To The Time Machine which was built around songs that were written back in the seventies.
Aiming High carries on where that left off and beings together a varied collection of songs that shows the song writing talents available to the band. This is an album that has something for everyone, whether it be the pop rock sounds of Free ‘n’ Easy, Dreams of Home and Want Your Love Right Now to the more prog rock orientated sounds of the Caravanesque Lamp Post Lil or the magnum opus that is Ice Age.
The whole album has a feel of celebration. Celebrating the coming back together of bandmates, the joy of playing the songs and the superb production of Harvey Summers of Broadoak Studios in Bexhill.
In short if you like your rock music to be joyous and uplifting then this album is a must for any collection.
